It’s Kaapi time again!

‘Kaapi with a Cop’ is an initiative meant to bridge the gap between the Police and the Public. Launched in Bengaluru under our Community Policing Program, it features a series of interactive, informal and inspiring sessions that citizens have with senior Police officials. These interactions help people understand how the Police functions, the challenges faced by the force and the importance of their work. This realisation in turn, will motivate citizens to play a more active role in managing the security of their neighbourhood and will perhaps enhance their co-operation with the Police.

The first ‘Kaapi with a Cop’ session took place with Dr. Rohini Katoch Sepat, DCP-South East Division, Bengaluru. This was featured in the previous issue of this magazine.

Subsequently, interactions with Mr. P. Harishekaran (IPS) and DCP Mr. Labhu Ram were organised. Click on these links to view the sessions.
