To give the awareness to the students about the day-to-day materials which they normally waste like stationary, etc to reuse or remodel the scrap items into a beautiful art/craft item.
Respected Sir,
good to know that the organization Janaagraha is working for city through "India Today". The city of Bangalore really needs caring.
I am a Software Engineer and working in the city for last 1 year. While walking on the city roads at different localities, its a common scene that rats are found dead on the road sides and on roads.
The improper, insufficient garbage collection and lack of public toilets are adding to the problem and the city may invite to any epidemic like "Plague".
Seeing this fact, i blogged on ndtv, the readers confirmed the fact in most of the localities of the city. It can be an alarming situation for all of us for epidemic, if it breaks.
I informed some Media persons, they didn't give a good think to the cause.
It needs a medical survey to test for the epidemic in rats throughout the city.
Hope to have a think by the organization for the cause, as the Govt. officers are busy making money by corruption and polititions only available and listens to public at election time.
I comes from north India, neither i know any influential person nor the local language, to convey this alarming message.
Note: feel free to forward to any influential person.
