What Can I do?
Traffic Management You can:
- Be aware of traffic rules and laws and follow them.
- Remember, the traffic signs are for good of all and not for the inconvenience of one!
- Encourage family and friends to follow traffic rules.
- Watch out for trouble spots in your locality where there are conflicts in vehicle and pedestrian movements and address them with the help of the Traffic Department.
- Identify areas without adequate parking, without footpaths, without pedestrian crossings or traffic signals and address them with the help of the BMP and the Traffic Department.
- Volunteer to be a Traffic Warden by filling out an application, which is available at the RTO office in Indiranagar. Only Degree holders, Valid Drivers Licence holders and people between the age group 25-50 may volunteer (certain terms and conditions need to be complied with) by getting in touch with the Chief Traffic Warden.
