Roads, Footpaths and Drains
One grouse that everyone has, in this city of Bangalore, is the condition of roads - humps and potholes for every 100 metres. However, what we see as "the road" is actually composed of 3 components: the road surface itself, the footpath, and the drain. In order to have good quality and long lasting road surfaces, all 3 components need to be designed correctly. These are included in what is known as the Programme of Works (POW) of the municipality.
