What can I do?

Building Violations and Land Encroachment

• Obtain a building licence before you start any construction.

• File complaints against violators and address them either to the Commissioner of the BMP or the Assistant Executive Engineer in the sub-divisional offices of the BMP.

• Protect your land from being encroached upon. If your land is encroached upon, you can file a lawsuit against the encroaching party.
