Rain Water Harvesting

The estimated volume of freshwater supply on our planet is 2.5% of the total water, of which a mere 1% is usable. 20% of freshwater species are extinct and 50% of the world's wetland is lost.
Rain water harvesting is a technique of collecting and storing water at the surface or in sub-surface aquifer, before it is lost as surface run off. Rain water surface run-off harvesting and roof-top water harvesting are two of the soundest techniques in preserving our water resources.
