A lot has been happening at our end during the last three months! Bala Janaagraha held its third National Civic Fest on 8th Feb. Around 450 students attended the National Civic Fest and Doon Valley School, Lucknow, St Micheal’s School, Ranchi and St Kabir’s School, Ahmedabad took home top honours. Manjunath Prasad IAS, Commissioner, Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike and Dr Ashwath Narayan MLA addressed the students.
Swachhata, the official mobile app of the Swachh Bharat Mission in cities powered by I change My City crossed a major milestone of reaching a 1 million user base! Swachhata has to date recorded 1,010,792 complaints with a 95 % resolution rate across 1334 cities.
Our major highlight for this quarter is release of the 4th edition of the Annual Survey of India’s City-Systems report and the Annual Conclave on Shaping India’s Urban Agenda: New Cities and Smart Cities.
