Mr Das is a Member of the Governing Board of Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy. He retired from the IAS as Secretary to the Government of India. He completed his education from the University of Delhi and the University of Hawaii, and has been visiting fellow at the University of Oxford. He is a distinguished author of several books on governance.

He did his schooling from Modern School, Delhi, Graduation in Economics (Hons) from St. Stephens, Delhi University and M.A. from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Yamini Aiyar
