Cities hold the promise of citizenship, offering a range of opportunities and rights. The Janaagraha-Brown Citizenship Index (JB-CI) study was conducted to address critical questions surrounding citizens’ ability to exercise their rights effectively, regardless of socio-economic status, religion, and other variables. The data collected through the JB-CI project provides valuable insights into the key determinants of citizenship quality, overall quality of life, and the quality of democracy in Bangalore.
