Sapna Karim
Coordinator - Civic Participation
Sapna is the coordinator of Civic Participation. Sapna joined Janaagraha right from its inception fifteen years ago. In her time at Janaagraha, she has worked in various citizen campaigns in the early years and with government in technology related interventions. She has also anchored HR & Volunteer Management for ten years. Prior to joining Janaagraha, she spent five years in the Information Technology field.
Manjunatha Hampapura L
Associate Manager - Civic Participation
Manjunath comes to Janaagraha with five years of experience in Human Resource Management and Back Office Operations. With a MA in History, he joins us with an urge to improve the quality of life by improving public lifestyles.
Outside work, Manjunath enjoys reading books, listening to music, writing poems and writing articles on various social issues.
Shubha Sharma
Lead - Community Engagement
Shubha has worked as software testing professionals for 5 years. While working with GE Healthcare as corporate volunteer she has had the opportunity to work with Kannada medium school students which further paved way for her to take up her post-graduation in Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). She considers her engineering degree with development studies as a value add to the social sector. She joins Janaagraha as Community Engagement Lead in Mumbai.
She loves to travel & cook. She is also happy with books when she has time on hand.
Tanima
Senior Associate - Civic Participation
Tanima joins the Civic Participation team as a Senior Associate. Having graduated as an engineer from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in Biotechnology, she went on to do research in the field of Cancer and Computing Science as a Dorothy Hodgkin Fellow, at the University of Glasgow. She has a background in data analytics that ranges from oncogenes to online startups. Prior to this, Tanima was with the product team at YourStory creating predicative models to chart growth trajectories of Indian startups. She likes the idea of using data for greater good than peddling consumerism, and hopes to do that at Janaagraha.
In her spare time she enjoys working on the potter's wheel, trekking through leech infested forests and reading about evolution and revolutions.
